First joint appointment
First joint appointment of King Felipe and Queen Letizia after their much talked about attendance to the funeral of Constantine of Greece in Athens, where they met again with King Juan Carlos and the rest of the Royal Family, for the first time reunited almost in full – except for Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia – since the funeral of Infanta Pilar, three years ago. Madrid Tourism Fair
After reappearing on Tuesday alone to preside over the inauguration of the new University Hospital of Salamanca and the meeting of the Board of Directors of FEDER, their Majesties traveled to the IFEMA-Madrid fairgrounds this Wednesday morning to show their support for the tourism sector once again at the start of the 43rd edition of FITUR.
Extensive tour of the fair
Accompanied by different authorities, such as the President of the Republic of Guatemala, Alejandro Giammattei – this year’s guest country at the fair – Don Felipe and Doña Letizia have made an extensive tour of the different pavilions, stopping at different stands such as Iberia, Castilla-La Mancha, Andalusia or India, and squandering smiles and closeness with all attendees.
The best showcase
An event marked in red in the calendar of the Queen, who has made FITUR the best showcase for some of her most applauded premieres.
FITUR 2022
In 2022, Queen Letizia surprised us with a trench coat with a Vichy check pattern by Mirto.
FITUR 2021
In 2021, Doña Letizia left us speechless with her applauded white ruffled jumpsuit from IQ Collection.
FITUR 2020
In 2020, the Queen opted for romanticism with her viral ‘confetti’ print dress by Massimo Dutti.
FITUR 2023
This year, Queen Letizia has given a radical twist to her outfits, opting for an outfit as casual as youthful.
Total black look
A total black look in which all the protagonism has been for her sweater, a premiere garment of the French firm Sandro (235 euros).
White embroidered collar
A knitted model with embroidered poplin collar in white that, trendy and youthful to the max, Doña Letizia will ‘lend’ at some point to her daughters.
Black pants and boots
As for the rest of the outfit, no surprises; a pair of black ankle skinny pants – very similar to the Hugo Boss trousers we have seen her in many occasions – and the black leather boots with a comfortable square heel that she wore a week ago during her visit to Menorca with Don Felipe to attend the inauguration of the historic Llabrés Pharmacy.
The hair, tied back
A high ponytail with some loose strands in the front – which could not be more flattering – her new favorite earrings, the Daga Doble model by Gold&Roses.
Repeat Coreterno ring
And on her hand, the ring that has replaced on her ring finger the Karen Hallam ring that she has not taken off for years; and confirming that it has come to stay, the Queen has returned to wear the jewel of the Italian firm Coreterno that premiered at the Royal Easter and on which we can read the inscription in Italian ‘Amor che tutto move’ (‘love moves everything’), inspired by the last line of the ‘Divine Comedy’ by Dante Alighieri.
Simple, but radiant
Simple, but radiant, and with a look that, once again, has attracted all eyes.
