A family tradition
The selection of the Christmas tree is a tradition of the Swedish royal family since the late 1960s, in which they select the ones to be displayed in the royal palace in Stockholm.

Students from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences are in charge of presenting the Christmas trees to the royal family.
