New displeasure for the Infanta Elena to see the name of one of her children, specifically Froilán, linked once again to scandal. As published by ‘El Confidencial’, the nephew of King Felipe VI has been implicated by the police in a street fight with knives that took place at the doors of a well-known nightclub in the Salamanca district of Madrid on November 25.
A crowded brawl in which Froilán was present and in which one of his friends suffered a knife wound of 2.5 centimeters for which he had to go – accompanied by the brother of Victoria Federica – to a hospital for medical assistance. After investigating the incident, the National Police has opened proceedings for a crime of fighting with penalties of up to one year in prison.
Apparently, the quarrel between two groups of young people – including Froilán and Isabel Mateos Pérez-Íñigo, known to be a friend of Pequeño Nicolás – arose due to the damage of a car, which some reproached the others for. The argument escalated, to the point that one of the friends of Infanta Elena’s son was wounded with a knife in the forearm.
It was then when one of those present called the police, who arrived at the scene and identified, as has now been confirmed, the grandson of Don Juan Carlos, of whom it is not known whether he actively participated in the fight or not, nor if the authorities will open proceedings against him. A delicate matter on which both Froilán and his family remain silent for the moment.
