They met on ‘That ’70s Show’
Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher met on the set of ‘That ’70s Show’ in 1998. The series is a sitcom about a group of teenage friends that depicts screen anxieties throughout the 1970s through heavy doses of humour, sourness and sarcasm.
Kunis lied about her age
One of the biggest curiosities of the cast is that Mila Kunis lied about her age, the actress claimed to be 18 and by the time it was discovered that she was only 14 the crew was so thrilled with her and her performance that they decided to keep her on the show. At the time Kutcher was 19, although their relationship was good and they became great friends, the spark of love had not yet been ignited. Kunis stated on numerous occasions and interviews that at the time she had a huge crush on Kutcher, but Kutcher, being older than the actress, being 19 and 14 years old respectively, did not see her in the same way.
Platonic relationship
Paradoxically, Mila and Ashton played Jackie Burkhart and Michael Kelso, two friends who had a platonic relationship. In fact, Mila Kunis’ first kiss took place on the set of »That ’70s Show» as she herself stated in several interviews and it was with Ashton Kutcher.
Independent romantic life
The couple forged a good friendship during the years they shared a film set, but at the same time each had their own independent romantic life.
Demi Moore
Finally, in 2005, Kutcher left the series after seven seasons, deciding not to renew his contract for the show’s eighth and final season. Despite this, the actors kept in touch and remained friends. That same year the actor married Demi Moore.
Macaulay Culkin
It wasn’t until 2011 that the couple formed by Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore decided to go their separate ways. That same year Mila Kunis ended her almost 10-year relationship with fellow actor Macaulay Culkin.
Reunion at the Golden Globes
In 2012, Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher reunited at that year’s Golden Globes. As Mila Kunis confirmed about this meeting » I was looking around and I saw a man who looked really handsome from behind. I thought he was really sexy… And then he turned around and I thought, oh my God, it’s Kuth. I thought it was the strangest thing that I’d ever been interested in this guy and it turns out it was someone I’d known forever».
Sporadic and fun relationship
After this encounter, Ashton invited Mila to his Hollywood Hills housewarming party and they began a fun, sporadic relationship. However, after three months of dating, the actor asked Kunis to move in with him and she accepted, and since then they haven’t stopped sharing their love.
Wyatt and Dimitri
In 2014 they had their first child, Wyatt, after which they got engaged and married on 4 July 2015. In 2016 they had their second son, Dimitri.
Love and complicity
The family now live in a luxurious eco-friendly mansion away from the city, in the suburbs of Los Angeles. Although it is not uncommon to see the couple and their children strolling the streets of the city showing their love and complicity.
