A surprising appearance
King Felipe and Queen Letizia made a surprise appearance at the ‘Tempo de Luz’ concert at the Gran Teatro Falla in Cadiz.
Festive ambiance
Upon their arrival, the King and Queen were welcomed in a festive atmosphere with music, clapping and cajones, and they did not hesitate to join in the fun. Doña Letizia, somewhat shy at first, finally agreed to sit on the cajón, while King Felipe sat next to her.
Universal Spanish Language Forum
The concert was organized as part of the IX International Congress of the Spanish Language under the theme ‘Spanish Language, Mestizaje and Interculturality. History and future’. A universal forum for reflection on the heritage and challenges of the Spanish language being held for the second time in Spain.
Love and applause
The crowd gathered there received them with affection and generalized applause. The King and Queen greeted most of the people of Cadiz present and wore their best smiles.
Flamenco style
Doña Letizia captivated the crowd with her flamenco and elegant style. She opted for the always classic black color, but gave it a flamenco touch by rescuing her most viral fringed dress from her closet.

The Hugo Boss signature design she debuted in late 2019 is a midi-length black dress, with falling fringe and a net-like fabric at the neckline and shoulders. Undoubtedly, the Queen left a lasting impression with her elegance and grace.
